Jazz, Wine, Hors D'oeuvres, Champagne, Dancing, Dessert, and a Deejay without Leaving Evanston?

It sounds too good to be true, but it's NOT!

Dear Evanston is thrilled to partner with Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre and MSGroup Chicago at Dream Town Realty for FJT's Wine & Dine Gala - Great Ladies of Jazz Concert on Saturday, September 1.

The fun starts at 6 p.m. with jazz vocalists Mardra Thomas, Bobbi Wilsyn, and Joan Collaso accompanied by the Marlene Rosenberg and Reggie Thomas Jazz Ensemble.

Tickets are $75 ($100 at the door) and include: a pre-concert reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres; a jazz concert with songs that made Billie, Sarah, Ella, Etta, and Nina musical icons; and then party with Dj Phat Katt while sipping champagne and tasting decadent desserts.

FJT is a local treasure, bringing Black American and African diaspora stories to life right here in Evanston packing its theatre time and again and drawing arguably the most integrated crowds (in a city that loves its diversity but seldom comes together across racial lines) to its productions.
