CNP, EPD to discuss citizen oversight

A message from the Citizens Network of Protection:

CNP will hold a conversation with members of the Evanston Police Department to discuss their thoughts on civilian oversight of the EPD.

ABOUT: In 2008, a group of Evanston residents came together to establish the CNP to enhance community oversight of the police department, in order to provide an independent mechanism for oversight, accountability, and transparency. CNP aims to assist the Evanston Police Department, City of Evanston officials, and Evanston residents to develop the most effective, equitable and independent system of oversight, accountability, and transparency.
