Family Focus ... on JoAnn Avery

The Family Focus Evanston Theatre was jam-packed tonight with generations of family members there to celebrate JoAnn McKire Avery’s 37 years working with kids and their families, primarily in Evanston’s 5th Ward.

The evening was filled with food, laughter, drumming, dance, poetry, speeches, singing, gifts, and most of all, love.
