This Sunday: See Art. Buy Art. Support Family Focus Evanston's Essential After-School Programs!
Family Focus Evanston has been an essential Evanston institution for almost 50 years, providing Evanston families with access to food, clothing, childhood development classes, counseling, and affordable after school programs.
Whether a family or individual is in crisis or just in need of a safe, creative, and caring place for their child to go after school, generations of Evanstonians have found a home at Family Focus.
This Sunday, September 22, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m, Evanston artists are giving back: two Florence street galleries, Ben Blount's studio "Make," at 1123 Florence, and Lisa Degliantoni's gallery, "1100 Florence," are co-hosting ARTISTS FOR FAMILY FOCUS, a benefit for the Family Focus Evanston's after-school programming.
Fifty works of art, including ceramics, hand-painted scarves, and paintings and drawings will be displayed and for sale. All art has been priced at $150 with all proceeds go to support Family Focus Evanston's programs.
Here are just two of the works that will be displayed and for sale.
