Thank you for the food: sustenance for DE's Uncomfortable Journey
Huge shout-outs to Evan Bernstein Finamore and the "Breakfast Club" -- Francine Kaminsky Allen, Cindy Pingry, Andrea Myrah Davies, and Leslie Cousineau for all the food donations they brought in from local restaurants and bakeries, including Foodstuffs Gourmet Foods & Catering, which donated 10 dozen cookies and the Unicorn Cafe, which donated bagels.

Thanks also to Bennison's Bakery, DB3 Donuts, Cupitol Coffee & Eatery, Backlot Coffee, and VILLAGE MARKET PLACE in Skokie for a total of five dozen donuts, 108 mini pastries, baguettes, more bagels, two cases of apples, donuts, and more!

Thank you to Bruce Allen King for baking a variety of 300 delicious cookies for our riders, and to Shannon Sudduth for making registration sweeter with goodies from Noir d'Ebene Chocolat et Patisserie.

Thanks to Eileen Hogan Heineman for the many clementines and to Shelley Barnow Sutherland for bananas.
And thank you to Clarence Weaver, Wendy Weaver and C & W Market and Ice Cream Parlor for making 100 sandwiches of all varieties to suit each participants' tastes!
It takes a village to feed 100 people on two buses traveling 16 hours each way!
You're all so very appreciated.
