Wednesday at 7 p.m., Robin Rue Simmons 5th Ward Alderman will host a FREE town hall meeting with representatives from the National African American Reparations Commission - NAARC (and featuring a keynote speech by actor/activist Danny Glover) to discuss ways to institute a reparations initiative in Evanston.

***PLEASE NOTE: 1,000 tickets have been claimed for the event and seats are now on a first-come-first-served basis, according to a conversation I had moments ago with Ald. Simmons. She asks that people get there early. They're working on an overflow set up at Fleetwood Jourdain Community Center.***
