Founded in 2015 by Clarence Weaver and Wendy Weaver of C & W Market and Ice Cream Parlor and Larry and Jean Murphy of YoFresh Yogurt Cafe-Evanston, the BBCENS has been instrumental in raising the public's awareness about the many and varied Black businesses in Evanston. It sponsors workshops for its membership and publishes a directory of Black business that includes brick and mortar businesses, home-based businesses, and online businesses. You can find that directory here.
For more information, email: bbcens4@gmail.com or call Larry or Jean Murphy at (847) 859-6408 or Clarence or Wendy Weaver at (847) 833-9764.
