Illinois announced 1,317 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 today, the day after the state’s daily cases topped 1,000 for the first time since June 5. The tally brought the total number of confirmed cases in Illinois to 151,767. Officials also reported 25 additional deaths, bringing the death toll since the start of the pandemic to 7,144.
