Covid-19 statistics for Illinois

The state announced 1,541 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today, the fifth straight day with more than 1,200 new cases.

That leaves Illinois with 171,424 cases reported. There was only one additional death reported Sunday, bringing the toll to 7,398 in the state.
