Today the state announced 1,624 new known cases of COVID-19 and 20 additional fatalities, bringing the total number of known cases to 166,925 and the statewide death toll to 7,367 since the start of the pandemic. The state also announced the results of 39,706 new test results.

Today's numbers reflect the highest number of new infections in nearly two months.
