Today's listed statistics for Covid-19 cases of Evanston residents:


Confirmed cases: 760 (six new cases since yesterday).


Deaths: 66 (four more deaths since yesterday), according to the City’s website.

State health officials today announced 623 new known cases of COVID-19 and 72 additional deaths, bringing the total number of known cases to 133,639 and the death toll to 6,398 statewide since the start of the pandemic. Officials also reported 18,729 new tests in the last 24 hours.


Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced that he tested positive for Covid-19, and in a tweet, he said, "I know we have moved to phase 3, but I am an example that nobody is out of its reach and we must continue to take precautions." Raoul said he is "coping just fine, and appreciate all of the well wishes."
