Illinois health officials today announced 1,466 new known cases of COVID-19 and 20 additional fatalities, bringing the total number of known infections in Illinois to 264,210 and the statewide death toll to 8,332 since the start of the pandemic. Officials also reported 39,031 new tests in the last 24 hours.
The seven-day statewide positivity rate is 3.6%.
