Dear Evanston talks Uncomfortable Journey at Evanston Live!

Join Mandy Bee Eason, Jevoid Simmons, Jane Grover, and me on Saturday night, November 16 for Etown Live at the American Legion Post 42 - Evanston.

We'll be sharing our thoughts and experiences from Dear Evanston's Uncomfortable Journey to Montgomery, Alabama to visit The Legacy Museum: from Enslavement to Incarceration and The National Memorial for Peace and Justice.

Thank goodness for Bryan Stevenson, who founded the museum and memorial!

Over the past couple of days, since Trump claimed he was being "lynched" by the Democrats (and yes, Biden said it too a few years ago), news outlets across the country have depended on the information at the Museum and the existence of the memorial to more than 4,400 lynching victims to loudly decry this offensive misuse of the word.
