ETHS alums will hold food drive at ETHS July 18

Parker English and Grace Sarkor, both Evanston Township High School (ETHS) alums have organized a food drive on Saturday, July 18 to collect food to support Evanston residents who have been hardest hit economically by Covid-19. They're asking all Evanston residents to donate financially and in-kind.

The drive will be located in ETHS parking lot 1, off Dodge Ave. and residents can drop off food from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

At 2 p.m., residents in need can begin picking up food.

"We're hoping to attract a large crowd with this central location," says Parker English. "Our goal is to help as many Evanston families in need, but especially those hit hardest by the ongoing pandemic."

Food will continue to be distributed until all the food boxes are gone.

In addition to the food drive, English and Sarkor are asking for cash donations to purchase and package food boxes for families. Donate to their GoFundMe.
