Next summer, Evanston resident and artist Melissa Raman Molitor will curate an exhibit at the Evanston Art Center from July 9 to August 2, 2022 centering the art and stories of Evanston's ASAPI communities.

She's looking for local artists and artisans who identify as Asian, South Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander to propose work for the exhibit. If you or anyone you know might be interested, please share this post and/or email her.
High school students, college students, and artists who use a wide range of arts media from creative writing and music to visual and culinary arts.
"Local" refers to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Evanston, but may extend to surrounding areas such as Skokie and Chicago.

Melissa be hosting an info session in October, with the date do be announced, for anyone who would like to learn more about the potential of the project.
