Ald. Robin Rue Simmons will speak via Zoom to Evanston's Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation - JRC’s Racial Equity Task Force at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 31.
Her presentation, “It’s Time for Reparations,” will address the history of systemic discrimination in Evanston and the ways in which Evanston’s Reparations Initiative addresses the present-day effects of that systemic discrimination.
