Kim Foxx to headline public forum in Evanston January 30 on re-imagining safety

WHAT: The People's Lobby, Reclaim Evanston and OPAL will co-sponsor a public forum and conversation about what makes a community safe.


The forum will ask participants to re-imagine community safety, to move beyond a reliance on police and prosecution and towards a community with resources for its most vulnerable residents.


Panelists: Cook County States Attorney Kim Foxx, Cicely L. Fleming, 9th Ward Alderwoman and Evanston Youth/Young Adult Program Coordinator Nathan Norman.
