Older Evanston residents and people with disabilities can once again partner with Evanston volunteers who will help shovel snow this winter.
The City of Evanston offers its Snow Shoveling Program so people who need help and volunteers willing to shovel are encouraged to sign up.
Volunteers are needed for the entire 2020-21 winter.

Evanston residents who request assistance will receive a list of available volunteers in their area. Residents will be responsible for contacting volunteers from the list and for scheduling their services.
Volunteers are responsible for completing the work or notifying the resident if they are unable to complete the work.
The program is free and there should be no exchange of money or goods.
