Evanston Fight for Black Lives is a student-led activism group that amplifies Black voices and fights for issues that affect Black lives in Evanston.

Etown Sunrise is a local hub of the Sunrise Movement, which is a movement dedicated to fighting the climate crisis while creating jobs in the process through the Green New Deal. Their current focus has been defunding the police, investing in communities and getting strong progressive candidates into office.

Artists featured at the yard sale will include several members of EFBL: Maia Hadaway, Oluwaseyi Olonilua, Kennedy Freeman, Grayson Izekiel and Kaila Holland.

Bella Hubbard, an Etown Sunrise organizer, is a longtime thrifter and yard-sale host! She access to a wide variety of clothing that she'll resell at the event. She's also looking for clothing donations, so contact here at 847-361-1058 if you have items to give her.

Following the yard sale, organizers will take a poll to select a Black-led organization to receive the funds they raise. Got ideas? Referrals are accepted.
