ETHS Students Walked Out.

March 17, 2018

A few shots from the Evanston Township High School (ETHS) walkout this morning.

More than 3,300 students left school out in this cold but blue-skied day, filling the stands of Lazier field, to remember their fellow students who lost their lives as a result of last month's mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and to call for change in gun culture and gun legislation.

Congratulations to ETHS Student Senate and its President Emma Austin Stein for organizing a powerful protest with action steps for change. And thank you to speakers including Ari Badr, Sophia Garcia, Genevieve Lindley, Max Layden, and Liana Wallace.
