Reparations in Evanston: Some Reasons Why.

March 10, 2020

Too few people know that there's a City fund where individuals, businesses, and organizations can make donations to contribute towards the Evanston Reparations initiative. Tax-deductible. Because, while hugely important, we all know that the Cannabis Tax source, tapped at $10M, is a drop in the bucket in terms of what Black Evanstonians have lost due to red-lining and other practices. If you can, please make a personal contribution to this fund.

Do the right thing. Contribute to the Evanston Reparations fund by sending your tax-deductible check to:

Lorraine Morton Civic Center
2100 Ridge
Evanston, Illinois 60201

Make your check payable to: Evanston Reparations/Solutions Only
